guy's family - voltage + miyavi rant!

OKAY i just realized something, i take back what i said about commenting on everything i posted. because i realized that i dont exactly listen to everything i post :X i will however post comments about things i have listened to. for new releases, i usually post them asap, so most of them i havent listened to them yet. so for those i'll post comments after i listened through the album a few times (i dont really like to judge by listening to it once)

and i was about to comment on miyavi on my last post but i deleted it xD; anyways here is my comment about miyavi~

MY MIYAVI RANT :D
i love this guy for his creativity, style and talent. he is the one that got me into jrock. and for the longest time, he was the only "jrock" person i listened to. so he is pretty special to me~ the whole neo visualism/kabuki boiz thingie, i was kinda disappointed but i give him credit for experimenting with different styles of music, something he puts emphasize about, and his creativity of course. what a wonderful world was a bit better and he layed off quite a bit of the "kabuki boiz-ness" that i felt was too dominating and heavy in sakihokoru hana no you ni. SO i hope i hope miyavi finds a balance between his "style" and the norm music. (i guess?)
i know in the beginning after he disbanded with due le quartz, he did pop because he wanted to be accepted and an audience and gradually you see that movement towards acoustic, rock and now his neo visualism/kabuki boiz thing. miyavi emphasize the point that he doesnt believe in genre and i have nothing against that but to me (this is my opinion) its getting so funky o_o; i kinda miss the old miyavi (senor, senora, senorita--> kimi ni negai wo)
and his image! i cant stand his new pictures now x_x; i want to cry, because its too visual to me, and so drag queen-ish ><;; like its not even mana-status its like woww o_o; as much as i love him but his image imo is getting a bit out of hand. ]: yeah yeah music is not all about looks but still x_x; there is nothing wrong with making yourself presentable to the general public? well i should really shut up on this bc visual kei for the most part isnt presentable to the general public HAHA XD;
SO this is my opinion on miyavi. any comments? :D

cheap dish and escort kinda remind me of merry, but toned down a bit. i would describe them to be fast, kinda noisy rock. the vocal kinda seem suppressed, but i dont blame them, bc they are pretty new after all. based on listening to the single twice, i think they are okay, nothing too unique but not bad? i like the intro to night blindness, it's provides a nice contrast~ its my favorite track from the single. :]
